We believe that sharing the love of Jesus with each child is the most important thing we can do each day. We will provide a warm and loving atmosphere in which to learn. We believe that children learn best through a variety of experiences. Each teacher will attempt to provide situat-ions which make learning exciting and fun.
Our mission at Mt. Olive Lutheran Preschool is to provide a loving, Christian environment that teaches children that Jesus loves them as they acquire social behavior skills, develop physically and mentally, and grow in emotional maturity.

Meet the Director
Karen Keswick
Karen Keswick has been the Director at Mt. Olive Preschool since Fall 2004. Karen is a graduate of the University of Texas and received her Master’s degree from Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State). Karen has worked with children of all ages in many different capacities including camp director, dropout specialist, and ROPES course facilitator. One of her greatest joys is sharing Bible stories and songs with the preschool kids. Karen also sings in Mt. Olive’s Praise Band on Sundays. Karen and her husband and their two sons enjoy gardening, cooking, playing dodge ball in the back yard and going to the beach.
